This website is operated by Yiwu Modudu E-commerce Co., Ltd. (trading as Linseed & Light). Throughout the site, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Linseed & Light. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Products

All paintings are hand-painted in oil. Because each piece is handmade, small variations in color, brushwork, and detail from the reference photo or sample images are normal and are not considered defects.
Colors may look slightly different on screen than in person.
Ready-made "reproduction" paintings, where offered, are hand-painted reproductions of public-domain works and are labeled as such.

Custom orders and your photos

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We may decline orders based on photos we believe infringe copyright or trademark (for example, celebrities or cartoon characters) or contain inappropriate content.
We use your photos only to create your painting. We will not share them publicly or use them in marketing without your written permission.

Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
Payment is processed securely by our payment providers (such as PayPal). We do not store your full card details.

Order acceptance

We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is listed at an incorrect price or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel a paid order, we will issue a full refund.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Linseed & Light or is used with permission, and may not be copied without our consent. The physical painting you buy is yours; reproduction rights to the artwork remain with us unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linseed & Light is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
